Project 628 has been extremely busy with our multi-creative production team.

Laylow has been locked in the dance practice room training and teaching new moves to our brand spanking new “Given” Dance Krew. It has been a hard few weeks auditioning and picking the right members and we found the right devoted and motivated members. We shall see more from these guys soon!

Project 628 has also been busy creating promo videos for Evixa. Evixa is a new dance workshop that fuse latin and hip hop into one hell of  a new style created and taught by the most talented Flic Manning.

Hey hey hey! It had been a long time coming! Finally we have time to update this!

Project 628 has been extremely busy with projects here, there and everywhere. We’ve been filming videos, shooting photos, producing music and creating ‘Media Strikes Back’ (Online TV).  This year started massively for 628 and it just keeps getting bigger with upcoming projects and partnership.

More on all of that later but for now 628 is putting out ‘GIVEN Dance Krew (GDK)’ auditions.

Its Monday once again and I have a whole week to dream about new projects! I know this suppose to be every Monday.. but I have been very busy… My apologies!

What’s been happening you ask?!? Well Fixd first music video has been filmed last weekend! Epic effort by everyone involve and it was seriously been good. Filming in the middle of nowhere (Cheltenham… I wonder if i spelled that right) anyways.. we all cruised over the “abandoned” warehouse where we filmed all night for 2 days! I’m happy to say that it went well and it is over to the editing guys and special effects dudes to finish the video! It will be fully epic though!

Future projects in collaboration involves Jamila and Lisa (Make up artist) from the Fixd music video shoot to help out in my conceptual photography about the “One Night Series” Its all coming together locking in Models, Location and MUAs all we need to do is set a date and away we go!

Possibly more art photography and editorial theme shoots up and coming! Also Danielle Blessie’s Promo shoot to be loaded soon!

Soulclap featuring The MELBOURNE HOUSE DANCERs, SoulClappers and SoulJahs! As always every Saturday night is an epic night over at Element lounge! Project 628 is always there catching the action and the fun in Melbourne’s best Hip Hop and R’n'B club!

Next week I promise we’ll have more on photography and new things for you to look at!

I know this suppose to go out on Monday but Project 628 has been extremely busy photographing and filming! How is everybody’s long weekend? We checked out “The Place” at The Johnston last Friday and it went off. A one off event soon to be followed because of its success with a long list of Melbourne’s greatest artist and performers. Leading The charge as usual is DJ Peril and his crew, Hollaback dance crew was also in the scene, Krumpers. Break dancers, and of course the party peeps! This was a very entertaining night filled with music, dancers and graffiti! Looking forward to the sequel! Check some of the photos here….

Saturdays is always fun going to my local hip hop and RnB club SoulClap… The Crowd was amping, the DJ’s are Spinning and the Alcohol is flowing! Check check check out the photos from that night here…

We have added more videos on the video section and still adding more so keep checking it out! The Hurricane music video is also almost ready to be filmed. Just need to sort out the dress rehearsal and polish the dance choreograph and it’s ready to be filmed! The 7th installation of its behind the scenes series is here! Here we are again… Monday and an update! I hope you had a look around and enjoyed what you see… The website is in beta stage and polishing it as we go… just like when windows release a new OS they keep updating it every week cause it’s never finished… but our website is less faulty! (Man I just cracked a geeky joke!)

Anyways what has been happening in the wonderful world of Project 628… Chanda has been busy building a promo packages for what we offer here. She has been doing a ton of research in photography pricing and genuinely wants to help our clients the cheapest way but in the highest quality possible! While Chanda is off doing paper work I went to my first AFL game last Saturday and supported The Western Bulldogs! Goooooooooo Doggies! I used to make fun of the game as I am from NZ and I really love my rugby but I have to say watching the live game… it gave me a new outlook in the whole AFL scene! Now back to business!

Alright enough jibby jabber! Last week I filmed the 6th installment of FIXD “The Making of” or “Behind the scenes” or whatever you want to call it for its up and coming number one hit all over the globe “Hurricane”. Soon the episodes will be available in this website but if you want to see it before hand go here!

Also “The Place” a one off event right here in Melbourne on Friday 11th June (Queen’s Birthday Weekend-Because this is how we party for your majesty) <FEATURING THE CREAM OF MELB’S URBAN ELITE CELEBRATING ALL THE MUSIC UNDER THE FUNK! DON’T MISS THIS ONE OFF LINE UP THAT SPEAKS FOR IT SELF CHECK IT!> Their words not mine and if you want to see if they are telling the truth then come on down! Party hard..fantastic line up..dance crew galore.. its going to be one hell of a birthday! (I wish I celebrated my Birthday like this!)

Projects in the Horizon?! Well yes thank you for asking. I’m planning to start a short film project and get back into making funny and action pack shorts! Our shorts are just there to entertain you and ourselves and if you’re keen to help out..message us!

The One Night Series is still going ahead but still looking for a perfect time to do it. We have found our models and MUA more on this soon!

Not a lot for this week as we are still updating and polishing the site but keep visiting us even on Mondays and see what we are up to!

Welcome to Project 628 and its very first post! The point of this news section is to bring weekly updates to all the visitors on this site. This is the place where we rant on about new projects being made by us or showcasing other people’s work who is affiliated with us.

Exciting day today as we launch this website officially! It has taken a while but shorter than the most…Massive thanks to Mr. Diesel Laws from FIXD for helping me out and hooking me up on building this website! (I owe you a slab bro!)

Also as a branch under Project 628 umbrella which is currently under construction is Astig Creatives. Astig Creatives designed to be an online magazine highlighting and showcasing up and coming and underground Melbourne talents and creatives. This is for everyone wanting to promote or launch themselves as an individual or groups. More on that in future posts!

On the horizon for Project 628 personal shoot is the continuation of the “One Night” Art Photography series. Looking in to exploring new parts and ideas for this series are called “One Night Stand” and “One Night Alone”. This two photo series are about experiences people could relate to. More about these series more in details in the following weeks.

Also we are always adding more and more content so keep checking this website every week. We are also adding new videos in the video section and photos from new photoshoots!
